How MailMeter Cloud Archive Works

MailMeter Cloud Archive is a Linux software application that is delivered in a Windows VM instance. It collects emails from the standard journaling interface on your email server (Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino, etc.) or from an MX record passthrough.

All components of a message - header, recipients, message body, and attachments are captured into the MailMeter Cloud Email Archive. It uses its own indexing scheme and MySQL database.

Messages are secured and protected in the MailMeter Archive. The company administrator can delete emails by date for record retention.
