What types of licenses are there?
- Permanent license - one time payment with annual maintenance
- Annual or monthly lease - includes annual maintenance
- Short term rental
MailMeter licensing is by active mailboxes
Each night MailMeter reloads your email server address book automatically updating the licensed users. If you exceed the number of licensed users you paid for, then it is likely that one of your users will not be able to access MailMeter (MailMeter has no control over the order your email server gives us the address book). All data will still be collected correctly. Please refer to the Licensed User reports in the MailMeter Administrator interface.
File Archiver allows unlimited storage
File Analyzer / Archiver is licensed by file server or by a total number of users. There is no limitation of extra charge for storage usage.
